Important documents to be kept for accounting purpose:
1. Bank statements
2. Bank in slip/credit advice/official receipt
3. Cheque buds

4. Payment vouchers (bank) – including the supporting documents 
5. Payment vouchers (cash) – including the supporting documents 
6. Invoices & statement received from supplier/creditors (purchase invoices)
7. Invoices & statement of account given to customers (Sales invoices)
8. List of staff, salary statement, EPF statement, SOCSO statement, PCB – any documents that related to employee
9. Property. Plant & Equipment (PPE) listing – invoices related to purchase of PPE
10. Banking Facilities such as; Hire Purchase Agreement, Loan Agreement, Overdraft, Letter of Credit, Fixed Deposit, Bank Guarantee, Banker’s Acceptance etc (if applicable)
11. Stock Listing (if applicable)
